Get Connected – Use Astra Web to connect IDS to the MyRVAdvantage Showroom

If you haven't already checked out the new features in the MyRVAdvantage Showroom Module you really should consider taking a look.  Most of our customers have already made the transition from the 3.0 Inventory Module to the new Inventory Showroom and are already taking advantage of all of the new features including; improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO), automatic human friendly URL re-writing, better looking inventory presentation, more customization over the layout and look, faster and easier inventory management, one click multi-image uploads and our newest manufacture content syndication features and more. 

We know that a small number of customers have not upgraded to the new showroom yet because they depend heavily on our 3.0 Inventory Connector to automate the flow of inventory information from their Dealer Management System (DMS) to our 3.0 Web platform.  Since the 3.0 Inventory Connector has no way to communicate between IDS and the new Showroom most customers just leveraged the new quick editing capabilities of the Inventory Showroom to manage inventory information directly on the website.  Even some of our largest users like Beaudry RV elected to drop the connector and manage over 500 units directly in MyRVAdvantage with great success with less time & effort than the “connected” version.

That said, we do recognize that some dealerships just don’t have the manpower to manage inventory online and in their their DMS system.  So, we came up with a solution.  For those customers who use IDS we now have a way to connect IDS to the new MyRVAdvantage Inventory Showroom using the Astra Web product from IDS as a bridge.

Astra Web is an add on product from IDS that connects to your internal IDS software and converts & communicates your inventory data into a usable format that our Inventory Showroom can read and process.  It also let’s our software know about new units, sold units and changes to existing units so we can automatically update your site based on the data you entered into IDS. 

This allows our IDS customers who like their current connector to move forward onto the new Inventory Showroom without loosing their automation.
