We knew our traffic grew and grew every month, after all it’s part of our job to help dealer’s increase their overall traffic (not to mention we have the monthly bandwidth invoices to prove it) but a careful analysis of our overall traffic revealed that our customer get A LOT of traffic. It turns out that our customers, combined, are seeing more than 2,000,000 Page Views and over 300,000 Unique Visitors every month.
That’s a lot of traffic!
While a lot of mega classified sites advertise their size in terms of how many page views they get and how many people visit their site each month, usually as a way to convince dealers to advertise or list classifieds on their sites, what were particularly proud of is that this traffic is not our traffic at all – it’s our dealer’s traffic. Granted, this represents every MyRVAdvantage customer’s traffic combined, but when you consider that many of the big mega sites only have a bit more traffic than us – but they spread it across almost 1000 dealers (and we certainly don’t) our dealer directly benefits by generating a more focused and more direct customer by generating all of that traffic for themselves. After all, why let someone else use your inventory to generate their traffic – only to spread it around to their other customers?
We thought so too.
Don’t get us wrong, there is a place for the mega classified sites. Heck, we’re even looking into one for our customers (except that it would be free for our MyRVAdvantage customers) but we’re pretty proud of our customers and these numbers. Rock on dealers!
